Adding Players to the Roster

Invited teams are expected to enter and play in the tournament with the normal team roster as it is registered with MBA or BNS, and this will be monitored and enforced by the Bedford Classic Committee. In the case that roster changes/additions are necessary - the inviting Bedford Coach and the Bedford Classic Committee must be notified by email as soon as possible. All additions to team rosters are subject to approval by the Bedford Classic Committee.

A game in which an added player has participated, and the addition has not been approved by the Bedford Classic Committee, will result in a default for the violating team.

Coach Bench Personnel

Only coaches and players registered with MBA/ BNS are allowed on the bench.

Any changes/additions to the roster must be communicated and approved by the Bedford Classic Committee.  Requests can be submitted to bmbaregistrar@gmail.com

Players Eligible to be Added to a Team Roster:

Players may be added from within the same club and must come from an equal or lower division of play of the same gender group.

Only “Call Ups” are permitted. If a player is found to be a “Call Down” (i.e. a player is from a higher division or older age category), the game will result in a default.

A player can only be officially on the roster of one team that is registered in the Bedford Classic Tournament. An individual player can be called up once to play a game on another team. If a player is found to have played more than once on a team that is not their official team, those additional games will each result in a default.
